Butchery
Always a big hit with our customers, Andersons is well known for its quality meat and sausages. Whether it be local RAMU Beef or Zenag & Tablebirds Chicken, we ensure only the best makes it into our supermarket. Our imported lamb comes from Australia and New Zealand.
Fresh Dairy
We offer local dairy favourites like Ilimo Fresh Milk, yogurt and cream. But our extensive range of overseas dairy sets us apart from all the rest. We import margarine, butter, yogurt, fresh cream, sour cream, dips and specialty cheese from Australia.
Fruit & Veg
Our wide selection of Fresh Fruit & Veg is a constant favourite among our customers. We pride ourselves on only carrying the highest-quality locally grown produce from local farmers in Wau/ Bulolo, Kainantu, Goroka and Hagen. All our imported produce comes from Australia and New Zealand.
Bakery
Our Bakery department works hard to bring you the freshest baked bread. We also produce croissants, bagels, baguettes, turkish, sour dough, ciabatta, focaccia, scones, lamingtons, cakes, pies, sausages rolls and fresh sandwiches each and every day.
About Us
Andersons Supermarket first started in 1947 in Rabaul ENB, specialising in providing meat through its butchery to the town and also began transporting meat to the town of Lae. In 1970, Anderson’s started its first ever supermarket, and new branches in Rabaul and Lae soon followed in the area known to many as "Erik Woo" which is now known formally as Eriku. In 2007, Anderson’s in Lae & Kokopo become a subsidiary of Chemcare Group Ltd. and expansion into Madang soon followed. Today Andersons Foodland operates 4 supermarket branches in Papua New Guinea.
